Meet Daisy Lou 🤍
Daisy Lou is our beautiful Mini HighPark, a cross between a Mini Highland and a Mini White Park. Her White Park heritage gives her beautiful white coloring with distinctive dark markings, while her Highland heritage gives her that adorable long, fluffy coat.
Like Blossom, Daisy Lou is naturally polled, so she will never grow horns.
Daisy Lou is the relaxed one of the pair. She is calm, patient, and wonderfully laid-back. She enjoys spending time in the pasture and loves treats, but she’s perfectly content to hang back and patiently wait for her turn.
Very little seems to bother Daisy Lou. Her gentle, easygoing personality makes her a wonderful companion for students who may feel more comfortable approaching an animal that is calm and unhurried.

Meet Blossom 🌸
Blossom is our sweet brown Mini Highland. She is naturally polled, which means she was born without horns and will never grow them.
Blossom is our little social butterfly! She loves being around people and is happiest when she can be right in the middle of whatever is going on. If you’re walking through the pasture, there’s a good chance Blossom will be following right behind you.
She is incredibly curious, loves being included, and especially enjoys gently taking treats from your hand. Her friendly and inquisitive personality makes her a wonderful animal for students to interact with while learning about animal care, trust, and responsibility.

Meet Luna
Luna is a sweet, docile English Cream Golden Retriever. She loves children and being right in the middle of the action. She will be a perfect addition to the indoor learning environment as she wanders freely from room to room to give love and attention to whoever needs her. She is eager and willing to receive gentle pets and belly rubs. She will surely decrease anxiety and stress as she surrounds the children with unconditional love and support.

Meet Tucker
Tucker is a bundle of energy. Tucker is always happy and looking for sticks to bring you. He also wants to earn free cookies and is a handy helper. He loves children and can't wait to be supportive in any capacity he is needed for, for both adults and children.
Numerous scientific studies have demonstrated the benefits of the human-animal bond. Animal therapy has played a crucial role in healing centers globally, assisting individuals of all ages with PTSD, trauma, and emotional well-being. When properly trained, therapy animals serve as gentle facilitators of emotional healing. At Aramis, we believe that animals can be profound catalysts for healing, and one of our main pillars revolves around animal therapy and learning with animals. We are committed to incorporating farm animals, therapy dogs, domestic pets, and horses into our center's learning environment to revolutionize how children engage with education.
Our vision is to offer a variety of animal programs that allow children to interact and learn with diverse animals in their natural settings. By combining outdoor learning with connections to nature and interactions with animals, we aim to create an enjoyable and enriching learning experience. Our curriculum will feature a range of art, creative writing, reading, and animal-centered classes conducted outdoors, providing a truly unique and immersive experience. Prioritizing animal therapy will ensure that children's mental and emotional wellness needs are effectively addressed.
Animals offer children an alternative energetic connection that can help alleviate anxiety, stress, depression, and PTSD. Simple interactions and bonds with animals can significantly reduce stress. For children interested in animal science, there will be opportunities to care for and learn more about these animals. Integrating animals into the educational curriculum will cultivate a more balanced, joyful, and well-rounded experience. Our skilled animal care staff and integrative animal educators will maintain a safe environment for all children.

Learning and creating in the presence of animals is a unique opportunity for children. Engaging in animal programs that focus on animal science, conservation, and behavior, or participating in activities like painting and reading with animals, will surely fill them with excitement.
At Aramis, we will provide ample outdoor learning opportunities for children to explore, create, and learn with animals through our animal therapy initiatives.

Animals can be gentle and influential teachers, especially in various animal programs designed for healing. Whether children are suffering from anxiety, PTSD, depression, neurological disorders, or behavioral setbacks, the positive influence of animal therapy is undeniable. Interacting with animals provides a profound, energetic presence that can heal those around them, enhancing their ability to learn with animals. At Aramis, we aim to strengthen the human-animal bond through connectivity and developed relationships with our horses.

Caring for animals through our animal programs teaches children responsibility and accountability. We strive to educate children about conservation, animal husbandry, and animal science while fostering learning with animals, including the benefits of animal therapy.

At Aramis, we will include a variety of animal therapy programs featuring friendly domestic animals for the children to interact with, enhancing their experience in learning with animals.
